Role: Trainer - Game ProgrammingDuration: Full TimeLocation: Gurgaon / BangaloreReports to: Technical DirectorDepartment: Engineering TeamRole OverviewMaster trainer of inGame academy will be nurturing computer science students or software professionals to become capable game engineers by inculcating required skillsets and creative abilities in them He will be deeply involved with each of the trainees so as to gauge their best potentials and provide them the right directionResponsibilities

1. Teach full-time courses in video game programming
2. Conceptualise, research and develop training material for courses
3. Teach programming concepts, algorithms and coding in a fun and engaging way
4. Evaluate the students' progress through class quizzes, periodical tests and assignments
5. Handle classroom management and administration duties
6. Evaluate the students' progress through class quizzes, periodical tests and assignments.
   
   
7. Provide stakeholders regular updates regarding the same
8. Manage student expectations and address student motivation and performance issues, as necessary
9. Participate in discussions and feedback sessions with stakeholders to continually improve the courses

Requirements:Essential Skills

• Familiarity with complete game production pipeline
• Hands on experience in C++ of 5 years or more
• Solid understanding of 3d Math & Physics concepts such as Vector, Coordinate Systems etc used in game programming.
  
  
• Solid understanding of data structures, OOPS concepts, algorithms, STL, memory management and multi-threading
• Working experience of 3 years or more on a game engine
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred Skills

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Application / Computer Science is highly desirable
• Shipped 2 or more game titles or other applications over unreal engine
• Past experience of teaching or mentorship for a batch of 30 or more
• Experience of production environment of 3 years or more
• Experience with AAA console game development
• Strong knowledge of rendering pipeline & shader
