Job Description
A centre facilitator plays an important role realizing our vision to empower the youth Centre facilitator will be person responsible for imparting English literacy and other life skills in an effective and innovative way through experiential and interactive methodology to help the youth achieve their goals We expect you to have basic understanding of marginalized communities and how education can be a tool of empowerment or transformation
Duties and Responsibilities
• To Manage and coordinate the effective delivery of trainings and activities at the centre
• Understand the experiential methods and use the experiential methods to facilitate the sessions
• Prepare and execute lesson plans, assigning tasks, and evaluating student work and progress
• Incorporating new thinking, new methods, and best practices in teaching methods to constantly improve the experiential methods
• Planning and designing English Literacy and Life Skills module for all the Makkala Jagriti’s Yuva Cafe in coordination with program team.


• Working with the program team to update and upgrade the content based on feedback during the implementation
• Defining assessment methodology and overseeing impact of the program throughout the year
• Promote safe, effective, and ethical learning environment
• Other job-related duties as assigned

PC Skills, Training, Life Skills, English Training

Experience & Skills required:
• Experience in training and coordination in teaching activities.
• Sound knowledge in English and life skills. Work experience in teaching in Life Skills and spoken English training is highly preferable. We are also welcome for freshers with an awesome sense of creativity and passion.
• Recognised English Language training would surely add to your case.
• Experience in alternative schools or in alternative methods is an added advantage.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and presentation skills
• Passionate about teaching and building skills among youth.
• Ability to work independently and with team
• High ethical standards and level of integrity.
• Good team player and able to quickly establish collaborative working relationships with the team and others
• Strong attention to detail, professional and calm under pressure and highly organised to successfully manage a varied workload.
• Working knowledge of Kannada is a must, Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage
Compensation: As per industry standards and based on experience.
